The “POWR!” theme year highlighted the region’s colonial past and its impact on society and culture, which continues to this day.
Dialogue spaces and perspectives on the region's colonial past
22 cultural projects from Westphalia-Lippe focused on the region's colonial past and its impact and significance for our society today.
Exhibitions in museums and at special locations, performances, research and mediation projects, event series and media projects took up various aspects of our everyday lives: cityscapes, museum collections, language and imagery, body perception, economic and trade systems.
