About the project

Blind Spots focuses on a chapter of post-war history that has received little attention to date: the fate of the so-called Displaced Persons (DPs) in Westphalia-Lippe. The former forced laborers and concentration camp prisoners who were temporarily housed in camps after the end of the Second World War will be remembered in an exhibition, lectures, workshops, a reading of reports from contemporary witnesses and a concluding panel discussion.
