Wanted: Projects in and for Westfalen-Lippe

For projects falling under the general funding profile as well as the “AI & Culture” funding priority, the usual requirementsapply , such as a connection to Westfalen-Lippe, a regional scope, or the potential to generate public attention. Funding is available for time-limited projects in all cultural sectors that offer programs and events in the region. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations such as associations, foundations, and gGmbHs, as well as public-law entities such as cultural offices, cities, and municipalities, within the framework of non-commercial projects.

Special Features for “AI & Culture”

For the fourth funding priority of the LWL-Kulturstiftung, we are seeking projects that explore the interplay between human creativity and technology through the use of AI and develop new forms of expression. The funding program is open to all cultural practitioners who use AI as a supportive tool in their artistic work or are interested in doing so, and who are planning related events and programs for 2028.
