The exhibition “Castles in North Rhine-Westphalia” is dedicated to the more than 2,000 castles that characterize the Westphalian and Rhenish cultural landscape. Archaeological finds and cultural-historical exhibits, supplemented by interactive stations and a digital atlas, illustrate their development, function, subsequent use and destruction.
