In collaboration with artists and regional stakeholders in South Westphalia, wanderspace develops and implements art projects that foster cultural participation. Art and artistic strategies unfold in public spaces, serving as the starting point and framework for encounters. wanderspace is an artistic-scholarly research project at the University of Siegen that explores and promotes art and culture in rural-industrialized areas. Exhibitions, discussions, residency programs, and various events in South Westphalia offer opportunities to learn about the work of the participating artists.
