“They. You. We.” Immigration and Coexistence in OWL After 1945

The collaborative exhibition “Die. Ihr. Wir. Immigration and Coexistence in OWL after 1945” will be on display in Paderborn, Minden, Büren (Wewelsburg), and Bielefeld starting in October 2026. The Paderborn City Museum, the Bielefeld Historical Museum, the Wewelsburg District Museum, and the Minden Museum are collaborating with migrant self-help organizations and the universities of Bielefeld and Paderborn to develop a specific accompanying program for each exhibition location, featuring a workshop or a storytelling workshop. An exhibition magazine will also supplement the historical context of the joint presentation with interviews featuring people with migration backgrounds. The project is sponsored by the Society for the Promotion of the Minden Museum (Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Mindener Museums e.V.).
