What is the future viability of Westphalian villages? Following this question, the research project "The future of villages in Westphalia-Lippe. The importance of infrastructure, voluntary commitment and support programs" was dedicated to the conditions and the past and upcoming processes of change in the villages of Westphalia. Points of reference for this included a look at the infrastructure, voluntary commitment and support programs. The results were discussed at scientific and political events and presented in a publication.
