The eightieth edition of one of Europe’s largest and oldest theater festivals starts on 1 May 2026: The multi-week season of the “Ruhrfestspiele” in Recklinghausen begins with a cultural folk festival with music, dance, performances, walking acts, circus and hands-on activities.
