Starting in November 2027, the LWL Prussian Museum in Minden will dedicate its major exhibition, “Really, Luise?!” to Queen Luise of Prussia. Her short life (1776–1810) spanned a period of radical upheaval, including the French Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, and the dawn of industrialization. The exhibition highlights Luise’s multifaceted roles as queen, mother, and public figure and, among other things, links current debates on gender roles and political participation to Luise’s story through the accompanying program.
