Westphalian Jewish women campaigned for women's rights just as much as non-Jewish women in the region. They were involved in regional and national women's movement groups and thus also gave Jewish women a voice in Westphalian democracy. Ottilie Schoenewald from Bochum, Jeanette Wolff from Bocholt, Rosi Wolfstein from Witten and others - their activism can still inspire, encourage and promote community today.
