As a play, "NOT MY FIRE" creates a place of discourse where the audience can enter into a dialog with the actors at various stations, free from the traditional seating: The setting offers a birthday party where the DJ provides entertainment in the absence of the host. Against the backdrop of the excessive luxury of the party, the ensemble confronts the guests with impulses for individual attitudes to ecological and social issues and makes the contradictions of modern life tangible. An open rehearsal process with the involvement of population groups and an accompanying program of discussion formats, audience talks and educational theater offerings expand the space for discourse.
