In their dialogical reading, literary scholar Walter Gödden and actor Carsten Bender presented images of Westphalia from various literary eras. They recited Westphalian authors who describe their Westphalia and writers who take a look at the region from the outside. One speaker knew a little more than his counterpart, who asked questions, generalized or (satirically) interspersed literary quotations. A witty reading that combined literary history with questions about Westphalian identity.
