Across religions, the exhibition explored the phenomenon of the sacred as a religious experience that encompasses the divine, the transcendent and the sacrosanct. Do the sacred and the underlying individual needs for orientation, support and identity still have meaning in uncertain times? Visitors explored this question and were able to find out what is sacred to them and gives meaning to their existence. The traveling exhibition took up the content of the exhibition in Telgte on roll-ups and toured libraries, town halls and district halls.
