With heart, hand and mind – Democratic life in the Sauerland

Sauerland Museum of the Hochsauerland District, Arnsberg
Exhibition

About the project

How have living conditions in the Sauerland changed over the last 100 years? The exhibition explores this question and traces the development of the South Westphalian region up to the present day. The exhibits include ballot boxes and booths as well as objects from office technology from the past 100 years. In this way, the exhibition opens up perspectives in the context of increasing democratic participation and the sometimes crisis-ridden acceleration of economic, social, cultural and ecological upheavals. Events in Arnsberg accompany the exhibition.
