How have living conditions in the Sauerland changed over the last 100 years? The exhibition explores this question and traces the development of the South Westphalian region up to the present day. On display are, among other things, ballot boxes and booths as well as objects from office technology from the past 100 years. The exhibition opens up perspectives in the context of increasing democratic participation and the economic, social, cultural and ecological upheavals, some of which have been accelerated by crises. Events in Meschede and Brilon accompany the exhibition.
