A sound performance by Mauricio Kagel—for participation and listening
111 cyclists from the Münsterland region

Free admission

Under the theme “BRIDGES,” the festival is dedicated to forging connections through a high-caliber and multifaceted program: from interdisciplinary music theater to interactive sound installations, from new compositions for ensembles and soloists to improvisation, from children’s concerts to a breath of fresh air for the city.

The festival features international and national ensembles, performers, and musicians, who will present six concerts at the Theater im Pumpenhaus in Münster. A special program draws visitors to Hall B on Hawerkamp with an interactive sound installation, to an encounter between Gerhard Richter’s “Pendel” and Erik Satie’s piano concerto at the Dominikanerkirche, and to a sound installation featuring 111 cyclists along the Promenade, at Picassoplatz, and at Domplatz. The festival concludes with a free children’s concert at the University of Music.

Three workshops on piano, voice, and recorder will be held through November.
